Shipping & Delivery

Grace & Dawn offers delivery Australia-wide through trusted third-party delivery partners, with some exclusions. We strive to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receiving payment. Please note that invoices will not be included with the product(s) but will be emailed separately.

Delivery Costs: All delivery charges can be calculated in the shopping cart. Our shipping calculator will determine the most accurate delivery cost based on product size, weight, and postcode. The shipping cost is displayed in the cart and recalculated at checkout after you enter your delivery address.

Delivery Schedule: Deliveries are carried out on weekdays during normal business hours, with only select carriers in certain areas offering Saturday delivery. If you need delivery outside of these hours or within specific time frames during the day, please contact our team at info@gracedawn.com.au to see if it can be arranged.

Estimated Delivery Times:

While Grace & Dawn and our delivery partners strive to meet estimated delivery times, your location and order size can impact the speed of delivery. Please allow up to 15 business days for all deliveries to account for potential delays. For non-fragile deliveries to rural and regional areas, please allow up to 30 business days from dispatch.

Small Orders & Non-Fragile Items:

  • Melbourne (Metro): 1-5 Business days
  • Sydney & Adelaide (Metro): 2-6 Business days
  • Brisbane & Tasmania (Metro): 3-7 Business days
  • Perth & Darwin (Metro): 5-9 Business days

Non-fragile items include most dining chairs, bar stools, armchairs, office chairs, side tables, and coffee tables.

Large Orders & Fragile Items:

  • Melbourne (Metro): Booked based on carrier availability
  • Sydney & Adelaide (Metro): 6-15 Business days
  • Brisbane (Metro): 6-15 Business days
  • Perth & Tasmania (Metro): 14-20 Business days

Fragile items include marble coffee tables, dining tables, entertainment units, buffet units, sofas, bed frames, and items containing glass.
*Large orders & fragile items being shipped to Darwin & Northern Territory are excluded from all standard delivery lead times and operate on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery Information:

We require an Australian street or residential address for all deliveries, as our delivery partners cannot deliver to a PO Box or parcel locker. Standard delivery services are strictly to the ground floor. If you require additional services such as above-ground delivery via stairs or lift, assembly, and/or rubbish removal, please contact our team.

Standard delivery services by our delivery partners include only:

  • Ground floor and/or front door delivery.
  • No product assembly or unboxing.
  • No removal of packaging or product wrapping.
  • No removal of old furniture or décor items.

Customers may need to arrange assistance to move furniture from the ground floor or front door into their premises. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the packaged product(s) will fit through doorways and/or elevators before placing an order. Box dimensions can be found on each product listing on our website.

Once an external carrier is booked, customers will receive an email confirmation with further instructions regarding the carrier and delivery details. Courier costs include full insurance for product(s) lost or damaged during transit.

Unattended Addresses, Futile Deliveries & Delivery Cancellations:

If the delivery address is unattended or you will not be available to accept the delivery, please contact Grace & Dawn and authorize an "Authority to Leave" on the order at least 24 business hours in advance.

In the case of a futile delivery, the original freight charge will be forfeited and recharged as a rebooking fee. Additional futile delivery charges may also apply. Delivery cancellation requests must be lodged within 48 business hours prior to delivery to avoid fees. Cancellations on the delivery date will result in the original freight charge being forfeited, with potential additional futile delivery charges.

Please note that authorizing an "Authority to Leave" voids any liability for loss, theft, or damage to your product(s) on the part of Grace & Dawn or our delivery partner.

Order Tracking:

Tracking information is available for non-fragile items sent via courier services. Tracking details will be emailed upon dispatch directly from the courier. Fragile removalists and independent carriers may not offer live tracking and cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. These carriers will contact the recipient via call or SMS to coordinate delivery.

Commercial & Oversized Products:

Customers may need to assist the delivery driver with carrying heavy or bulky product(s) to the ground floor and/or front door. Depending on carrier availability, Grace & Dawn may not accommodate oversized deliveries without assistance.

Melbourne-Only Items:

Due to fragility, size, and packaging, selected products (labelled as 'Melbourne Only') are restricted to pick-up or delivery within Melbourne metro areas only. These products will only show freight costs for Melbourne metro postcodes.

Should you wish to arrange your own freight for a 'Melbourne Only' item, Grace & Dawn is not liable for any loss or damage during interstate transit, and the product warranty will be void if taken outside the Melbourne metro area.

Please note that all Floor Stock/Ex-Display pieces are strictly limited to delivery within Melbourne Metro. Grace & Dawn may cancel and refund these product(s) if ordered for interstate addresses.

Warehouse Collection:

Collection is available at no cost from our warehouse in Truganina, Melbourne, Victoria. Please contact our team at info@gracedawn.com.au to organize a collection time and address.

Warehouse collection is available Monday-Friday from 10:00 am-4:30 pm. Once payment is confirmed, customers will be contacted via email to arrange pick-up and provided with a packing slip for collection. All pickups will be scheduled based on the earliest available date that the warehouse can accommodate.

Warehouse staff require a minimum of 48 business hours (excluding weekends & public holidays) to prepare new orders for collection.

For customer/client arranged freight, Grace & Dawn will not prepare the order for dispatch until courier information and/or labels are provided. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any arranged freight is booked for two days after labels are received by Grace & Dawn to allow adequate time to prepare the order for dispatch.

Please note that Grace & Dawn is not liable for transit damage for products not freighted by Grace & Dawn, including those damaged in transit after customer collection.
